Transformations

Kevin

I was 22 years old and my life was going through a tail spin of health problems. I weighed 305 pounds and was suffering from slow breath, bad knees, and had began to start having chest pains. Seeing where my life was heading I knew I had to make a change. I saw my family and my Fiance and thought if I wanted to grow old with my wife to be that I had to make this change. (continued)

Terri

My name is Terri and I am a registered nurse and massage therapist. Six months shy of my 50 birthday and with the help of my friend Dallas Page, who helped me understand that only I had the power to take control of my life by accepting responsibility for the physical shape in which I unhappily found myself, I changed my attitude and my lifestyle and lost 64lbs. (continued)

Arthur

My name is Arthur Boorman. I am a disabled veteran of the first (1990-91) Persian Gulf War. I am a special education teacher, and I work as an assistant administrator (vice principal) in an alternative education (summer school/night school) program.

It all started with that first step in February. On February 9, 2007, I weighed almost 300 pounds.  (continued)

“I found Diamond Dallas Page and DDP Yoga at the perfect time in my life:  Worn out from the physical and emotional baggage of carrying 300+ pounds for 20 years, I was finally ready to make some changes.  There’s nothing magical about me or my story.  I’m a typical American hardcore overeater who found her way out of the woods.  And there was no one magic answer. (continued)

Chad

I turned 35 this past May. It was a sobering day, to say the least. I was heavier than I’d ever been, but it wasn’t just about my weight. I was always tired, my joints stiff and my moods seemed to swing under the slightest duress. (continued)

Stacy

I am a 38 year young, single Mommy of three daughters. I have had weight issues since having my youngest daughter and she is now eight. When I think of taking time out to focus on myself it seems overwhelming... in addition to the time factor, the costs of gym memberships, clothes, gas, childcare, etc. make it nearly impossible  to achieve. (continued)

Motown

I know was not on the Team DDP Yoga website for a bit but you can bet your ass I was not without my DDP Yoga and the living life at 90% philosophy. Trust me with a family of five to manage that is a lot of livin...lol but I love every minute of it. The good news is I have reached my goal weight as of 8/29/11 (my 40th Birthday) and am still going strong.

Angella

I've pretty much struggled with my weight all my life. It was like a Yo-Yo going up and down, up and down. I was never able to lose more than 10 pounds. I had no strength, no flexibilty, no concentration, and I had what you would call thunder thighs. I have always been very self-conscious about my thighs I had given up. My motto was "you're a big girl, it's genetic, you are always gonna have big thighs so get use to it". (continued)

Dylan

My name is Dylan and I am 16 years old. Many months ago I was known as "Pudin". Guess the name really went with my appearance at that time. I never really showed it but it hurt inside to think that is what people thought of me. I believed that I was over weight and that is just how it was going to be. I was always active in sports. I played football, wrestled and lifted weight but always remained heavy. I figured that it was meant to be that way. Late in my Sophomore year of high school I stepped on the scales and realized that I weighed 292 lbs. I was a heart attack waiting to happen. (continued)

Linda

At 47 yr old I am what you might call a typical single mom with two children... two jobs and not enough hours in the day to accomplish the daily list of commitments and chores.. Until I ended up in the hospital with a life threatening lung & heart disease which made me realize some serious changes needed to be made in my lifestyle or I was going to leave my two beautiful girls without a mom… (continued)

Smokey

That picture was what 270 pounds looked like, and although my  goals for weight loss were very conservative, I was able to shed weight quickly. My transformation wasn't about scales and inches, although it was wonderful to hear that people were noticing the hysical changes that were taking place. It was the confidence that DDP Yoga gave me and the feeling that I was continuing to change and improve in so many varied ways...every day that made the difference. (continued)

Diane

I lost 17 pounds in 18 inches the first 3 months and I've been continued to do DDP Yoga for almost three years now. I started with the Fat Burner Plus DVD and still use that workout today, only the way I do it is completely different! When I first started doing the workout my legs were shaking so much I had to hold on to my bed. When I went out to film the YRG Infomercial, I could only get my heart rate to 120. I didn't fully understand the concept of engaging and using Dynamic Resistance. (continued)

Sparky

I started DDP Yoga because I wanted to try to lose some weight and get in shape.  What I didn't know, is that DDP Yoga would transform my entire life. Diamond Dallas Page took me from the who I was to the who I should be; from shooting for the curb to Living Life @ 90%.

Many times before, I *tried* to lose the weight and get in shape and *thought* that it was just going to happen. Trying wasn't doing. I wanted to *do* it.  And thanks to Dallas, DDP Yoga, and Team DDP Yoga I did it. (continued)

Tracy

Growing up I was never the skinny girl. It was never something I aspired to be. I was always athletic and played multiple sports. After high school, I played college softball. To this day I still play softball in the summers. After college, I put on a few pounds here and there. Over the years I would do the yo-yo dieting. Lose 20 pounds then put it right back on. Having repeated this process way too many times I pretty much became convinced that I had no choice in how much I weighed. (continued)

Doug

In my younger years, I was always active, especially in sports. I maintained a decent weight. If I did not stay active I would start gaining weight.  As I grew into adulthood, I added weightlifting and continued playing sports.  Then the injuries came. (continued)

Lindsey

As a dancer, I have always fought hard to keep my weight down and my body toned. I have struggled over the years as I have moved from the dancer to the dance teacher, to maintain my ideal weight. With the birth of my first child I gained 65 pounds! I managed to lose almost all of my baby weight when I got pregnant again with my daughter. Everyone told me that the weight you gain with the second child doesn't come off as easily as the first! At 29, I figured it was time to become comfortable with buying those dreaded "mom" jeans.

That's when I met Dallas... (continued)

Christian

I was never really in bad shape, but I certainly wasn’t in good shape I was 14 years old. I wasn’t an athlete.  I needed something to take myself to the next level and I wanted to do it in the best way possible. (continued)

Laura

After my second child, I just couldn't drop that last 10 pounds until I met DDP and give his special breed of yoga a try. (continued)

Darren

Being a professional fighter and basketball player with the nickname “Big Crazy”, you can imagine I’ve pretty much aways thought I was in killer shape...until I tried DDP Yoga that is.  When my brother and I met DDP at a convention, we were skeptical that any form of “Yoga” would challenge us at all, but as fans of DDP, we gave it a try.  Today, I can honestly say that DDP Yoga has changed my athletics and my life.   (continued)

I got into weight lifting because I had sympathy pains with each 3 kids I had (someone had to because my ex didn't gain any during the pregnancy). By the time I Dallas started talking to me about YRG I was 230lbs, 207 lean mass with 11% body fat. But after bench 405lbs, curling 70lbs, doing dips with 3 45lb plates strap to the waist and leg pressing 1080lbs ALL AS A REGULAR WORKOUT it was time for change. (continued)

Kyle

It’s hard to believe that I began this journey earlier this year, as so much of my life has changed in a matter of months.  A friend of mine recommended DDP YOGA to my wife and me because of her chronic hip pain, and inability to do other forms of exercise.  I’ll admit I was skeptical of any type of workout that was called “Yoga”, but my friend encouraged me to try it.  Although after just a few months my before and after photos show a pretty big physical difference, DDP YOGA changed so much more than just my body. (continued)

Chris

My journey started 13 month ago on March 25 2011. I have always had been athletic since high school. I did everything from Football to Gymnastics to Baseball and all the while I struggled with Bronchial Asthma, I had to use an inhaler daily and a nebulizer before bed.

My senior year me and my brother were horsing around and I ended up fracturing two of my lower vertebrate. That’s when I had to stop all sports and my rehab started.  My dream since a child to be a Pro Wrestler / athlete was now silently swept under the rug; I thought there was no way I could ever compete at their level with the constant pain I was in. It took most of my senior year to get back into shape, thank god for being young and healing fast! I still had plenty of pain but it was tolerable. (continued)
